New Things Co, Talented and Mavericks are now Witted companies

There is a new player in the software consulting field. As of today, we here at New Things Co, and our friends from Mavericks and Talented are now joining forces to become Witted, a 300 talents strong software company.

Each of the three companies offers software professionals a unique and successful employee value proposition and working model. That's why we, Talented and Mavericks will each continue to exist independently as fully autonomous parts of the whole. Our brands and their promises are not going anywhere and we do not want to break what is already working excellently. Together, we are stronger, but we still retain our own identities. 

When New Things Co was founded five years ago, we had the vision to create a modern home for designers and developers who want to work together to help clients with their challenging digital development needs. We wanted to be a community where people know each other and can work together.

This vision has not changed, we are now, and will continue to be a home for people who share this way of working. However, we have also noticed how the software industry in Finland has evolved during these years. There are new ways for people to work and new needs from our client organizations. One way to do things does not have to fit everyone.

For this reason, we decided to join forces with Mavericks and Talented.

As a group, we now offer IT professionals several different ways of working.

We here at New Things Co are still the software consultancy developed by its consultants that favor greenfield projects and teamwork. We can offer an extremely communal, empathetic and inclusive working environment for experienced developers and designers. At the heart of New Things Co’s culture are learning, experimenting and experiencing new things. 

Talented finds the best jobs and projects for IT professionals, taking into account everyone's personal wishes and preferences. Talented is an IT expert's own personal agent. In addition, Talented offers support for becoming a freelance software developer, from starting to run a business to acquiring customers. 

Software consulting firm Mavericks combines the best of both worlds: an entrepreneur's income and freedom, with the sales machinery and safety net of a consultancy. In addition to the industry's highest salaries, Mavericks offers diverse projects with autonomous and transparent company culture.

Witted is the parent company of all three and ties their operating models together.
